Rapunzel Inspired Running Tank for runDisney Race
Training is well underway and almost done for my runDisney Princess race! I cannot believe the race is only a week away. I was going to go hardcore with my running costume this race, but let’s be real it’s just not fun to run in something uncomfortable. While I LOVED my Provincial Belle running costume I made for a previous runDisney race I decided (more…)
Where to Stay During a runDisney Race Weekend
So, you’ve signed up to run in a runDisney race. You’re training, you’re planning what you will wear, you’ve asked for time off work, now you need to book somewhere to stay and start planning the Disney part of your runDisney race. There are many (more…)
Provincial Belle Running Costume
Provincial Belle is a fun easy to put together running costume. Running in runDisney races has become a true passion, okay maybe an addiction, of mine. I was hooked after my first 5k and quickly upgraded to a 10k just the following fall! For my second race, I had to wear one of the fun costumes I saw on the race course at the 5k. I came up with the idea of doing Provincial Belle because I was running at the runDisney Wine & Dine 10k and that weekend has the Lumiere challenge, which made me think of Belle. (more…)
RunDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend
For Disney fans and runners, alike Walt Disney World’s runDisney Wine & Dine weekend is simply amazing. The mix of Disney, running and Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival makes this Disney race weekend one of kind. For my second RunDisney event, I decided to run the 10k at Disney’s (more…)
Packing for a RunDisney Trip – Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend
Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is almost here! Everything is booked, the trip planning is complete, the race outfit is ready to go, my training is almost over. It’s time to start planning what I will pack. When it comes to packing, I either over pack by a substantial amount or I under pack by a substantial amount. I stress over every item I put in my bag and have nightmares that I forgot half of it. This stress is even worse when it comes to any of my Disney vacations. Packing for RunDisney events is no different. * This post may contain affiliate links, if you make a purchase after clicking these links we will be compensated.
Packing for Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend
My packing list is quite extensive, as I plan to have everything I could possibly need and then some. We are also staying at Disney from Thursday to Monday afternoon, so my list may be longer than you will need. I am flying Southwest with free checked bags. We use the Disney Magical Express. With this transportation service, Disney will deliver my bags to our hotel. This time around we will be staying at All Star Movies.
Every item you need to purchase upon arrival will cost you possibly triple the cost extra. For any Disney vacation, a packing list is essential. I have included in this list what I will be (more…)
Star Wars RunDisney Outfit
I recently ran the Star Wars 5K at Walt Disney World. One of the best parts of running Disney is all the crazy outfits people wear. After I signed up, I immediately wanted to have a fun outfit. Originally, I was going to make a crazy costume. That idea was over quickly once I remembered I had to be able to run in it. I decided on something I could actually use again and something that was easy to run in.
There are so many Star Wars RunDisney Outfits you can buy on esty, but why not just make one! It’s cheap, easy and you can add your own flare. The tank I made for the 5k said May The Course Be With You in yellow neon glitter letter. Here are instructions on how to make your own tank. ** This post contains affiliate links to products I use for your convenience and to support the continuance of this site.
