A clean version of a cobb salad is a rare find! While doing our 30 Day Detox, I did a lot of meal prep and made a salad for lunch almost every day. Since I had a lot of hard boiled eggs and had some avocados I came up with this idea for a clean cobb. I was sick of only having oil and vinegar for a dressing and wanted something creamier. This salad turned out amazing! I can eat this salad over and over again and not have the guilt of a high calorie, low nutrient dressing.

Ingredients

The ingredients you need for this recipe are romaine lettuce, turkey, tomato, dried cranberries, egg, avocado, olive oil, red onions, and red peppers. You can substitute things in and out if don’t like something such a green pepper for a red pepper or a chicken for turkey. If you LOVE blue cheese dressing on your cobb, no this doesn’t have any cheese. I personally don’t like blue cheese so I always order a cobb that with ranch dressing. No, the dressing won’t taste like blue cheese or ranch, but it’s creamy and delicious.

Recipe

The recipe is really very simple and uses my favorite parts of a cobb salad. All you have to do in advance is have a hard boiled egg ready to go. Then you chop up all your vegetables and the turkey. In a separate bowl mix together the olive oil and avocado and add a little salt and pepper to taste fo the dressing. Toss the chopped vegetables and turkey in with the dressing. Easy clean cobb salad!

Clean Eating

Clean eating can be hard to do, but with a little meal prep you can also have a delicious lunch you wouldn’t even think twice about the fact it’s “clean”. Also, this salad is full of nutrients and good fats that are perfect for anyone on a detox like we are. Make sure you don’t use table salt!
