Wow, a lot has changed at Walt Disney World. There was FastPass, there was no FastPass. Annual pass holders could not buy passes, annual pass holders could buy passes, now annual pass holders can only renew passes. There’s something called Genie+ and something called Lightening Lane. I live in Florida so I get to deal with hurricane season no matter what. If you are a non-Floridian traveling to the Orlando area to visit Walt Disney World you may have no clue about hurricane season or what to expect if you wind up traveling during this time of year.

Anyone that knows me can tell you that I love all things, Disney. As a very girly little girl, I loved princesses. Dressing up as Cinderella for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom is possibly my favorite childhood memory. When my husband and I got engaged there was only one place I could imagine having my bachelorette party, Walt Disney World. Disney World makes a wonderful destination for a bachelorette weekend. There is an abundance of things to do, more restaurants than you can count and if you haven’t been since you’ve been a child, you might be surprised to know there is plenty of nightlife.
After hours of planning, research and Disney knowledge from many previous trips, my bridesmaids threw me a bachelorette weekend made of magic. Here are my tips and tricks to have a magical bachelorette weekend that you and your friends will remember for a lifetime! Whether you want to bar crawl around the world, a family-friendly day at the parks, or (like me) a combination of the two, Disney can be a perfect bachelorette party.

Be Our Guest Restaurant at Walt Disney World changed from a traditional menu to a Signature Dining 3-course Prix Fixe menu on July 27, 2018. We went to check out the new menu and eat in Beast’s Castle on the second day the menu was available. The current price (more…)
Sad day, FastPasses are a thing of the past. This post was from 2018. I’m leaving this post up for nostalgia sake, I guess. Anyway you are out of luck because FastPass+ is gone and Genie+/Lightning Lane replaced it. For more current information on Walt Disney World and travel see our latest posts here.
FastPass+ allows Walt Disney World resort guests to reserve “Fast Passes” for select Disney park attractions up to 60 days in advance of their check-in date and non-resort guests 30 days in advance of their arrival date. FastPass+ is basically a reservation to get in a shorter line for that attraction during a specific time window. This can shorten your wait time drastically or guarantee you access to a show if used correctly. It’s also completely free and included in park admission for EVERY (more…)
