The Teami 30 Day Detox Review

by

Our Teami 30 Day Detox is done! We did all 30 days without skipping a single day and the results were beyond what I anticipated! Being a skeptic I am never a believer is fad “detoxs” and was a little worried when I signed on for this one. Since it was an all natural tea and a lifestyle change instead of chemicals in a pill or a hardcore diet I decided to give the Teami Detox a try. Not only did I LOVE the results, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE their teas. I’ve already purchased two of their other tea blends, Relax and Profit! They taste delicious and the tumblers are so easy to make tea in. Here is my Teami 30 Day Detox review!

You can read what exactly we did for our detox here.

Clean Cobb Salad

by

A clean version of a cobb salad is a rare find! While doing our 30 Day Detox, I did a lot of meal prep and made a salad for lunch almost every day. Since I had a lot of hard boiled eggs and had some avocados I came up with this idea for a clean cobb. I was sick of only having oil and vinegar for a dressing and wanted something creamier. This salad turned out amazing! I can eat this salad over and over again and (more…)

by

We’re a little over a week in our 30-day detox and I can’t believe how well it’s going! Let me start off by saying I was skeptical of our one-week results because we went to an event during the weekend and we weren’t perfect that day. Hey, we are all human life is life things come up and we are trying to make a lifestyle change not just accomplish a 30-day challenge, so a being perfect all the time isn’t going to happen. I let it go and figured my week one results just wouldn’t be as great as I’d hoped. I was totally wrong and we still got great results in the first week. So, here’s my one week update and some tips I’ve learned along the first week of detoxing.

Nashville Hot Chicken Recipe

by

Try the Nashville Craze at Home with this Hot Chicken RecipeNashville Hot Chicken…..

has been around forever. However, it just recently became a craze. I grew up in Nashville and while I remember people referencing hot chicken, I don’t remember it being a thing until after I graduated high school. I’m HUGE fan of anything spicy, so I’m shocked I never had this dry rubbed spicy chicken sooner. The company I worked for out of college had the Nashville hot chicken restaurants, Bolton’s, vend at their music venue. Part of my job was working with the vendors. After telling the owner, Mr. Mathews, I’d never tried hot chicken he gave me some. I was hooked from that moment on. Shortly after this, hot chicken took (more…)

Take Mexican Night Up a Notch and Make These Simple Fajita Bowls

Mexican food is a staple in my house. I love a taco Tuesday. I am always looking for a way to get an extra Mexican meal into my week. These Mexican Fajita Bowls make a great dinner. They were extremely easy to make and delicious. This was definitely a what’s in the pantry dinner. We traveled to visit family in Nashville last week. My husband was traveling the week before, so I felt lucky to even find the ingredients to make this dish.

Take Mexican Night Up a Notch and Make These Simple Fajita Bowls

Ingredients Used For Mexican Fajita Bowls

The ingredients for this recipe were based on what I had on hand. I purchased a few pounds of organic frozen ground turkey from a local farm. When I went to make dinner, I was thrilled to find 1lb left in my freezer. I also had some peppers, 1 tomato, (more…)
