When the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake….. grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize!

This song will be forever stuck in your head after riding The Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! One of my childhood favorites, this attraction takes you on a Doom Buggy journey through the mansion with your Ghost Host to visit the mysterious haunted home of 999 happy haunts.

Along with an interactive queue, entertaining Cast Members, and spooky surprises lurking around every corner, this is ride is family fun with amazing theming from start to finish. The ride is also suitable for all ages. It is a popular ride and you may want to get a FastPass for it if you are going to Disney at a busy time of year or this is on your must ride list, but you can usually find a time of day where the wait time isn’t terrible. The queue line is interactive in some sections, but it is mostly outdoors.

After riding look for a PhotoPass photographer if you have memory maker. Sometimes there is a cast member available to take a fun photo and you might even get a hitchhiking ghost in your shot!

There are actually multiple versions of this ride in a few different Disney theme parks, but in this post, I’m only going to discuss the Walt Disney World version. If you have ridden one of the other Haunted Mansions, we’d love to hear about it. Tell your thoughts in the comments!
