Our honeymoon is just around the corner! I am so excited and can’t get Mexico off the brain that I decided to make these tacos. My goal for these tacos was to use as many colors as possible. To me Mexican food is all about flavor and using a wide variety of colored fruits and vegetables that thrive there. This recipe uses (more…)
Make Your Own Princess Monogram Using A Cricut
A monogrammed water bottle is perfect to take to the park. You can also make one for your own little princess at home. I love to monogram just about everything. Since Disney World allows you to bring water into the park, why not have a Disney monogrammed water bottle?! I always make sure to bring a water bottle with me to the parks anyways. For my last trip, I decided to make my friends and I monogrammed bottles. *This post contains affiliate links. If you make a purchase after clicking on one of these links we will be compensated. A visit to the Gateway to the West
We recently relocated from Nashville, TN to the Midwest. Since moving, we have been trying to explore as much of the area as possible. St. Louis makes a great weekend trip and there’s so much more to see and do than I ever imagined before visiting. Here’s 20 things to see in Saint Louis.
1. Check out a Cardinals Game – Bring on the baseball. St. Louis loves their team and the baseball stadium is top notch. There isn’t a bad (more…)
A good breakfast sandwich is always something I look forward to whenever we are traveling. I love a bagel or english muffin with eggs, cheese and sausage. So, why not just make it at home? It’s a simple breakfast you can make in minutes and the homemade version tastes just like you local cafe for a fraction of the price and WAY better than any version at a drive through.
Start this recipe off by making the sausage. I used Tennessee Pride Sausage, because I’m a southern gal and (more…)
I have the world’s best Dad. He is supportive, caring and always there for me when I need a witty joke. He was my first dance partner and probably the first to make me laugh. I was the luckiest girl alive to have my wonderful Dad and for this Father’s Day I made him a card and sent it via snail mail. I could have gone above and beyond with a crazy gift, but a simple token of appreciation is what I chose to do. This weekend do something special for your Dad or make him this card!

Welcome to Summer Wreath
Summer is finally here and it’s time to freshen up our new front porch. I love a wreath, so my first step to my outdoor decor was our front door. I made this wreath from the base of my Simple Spring Wreath. It’s always a great idea to save money and turn one decor project into the next if you can! Here’s what you’ll need and instructions to DIY (more…)
I love my die cut machine. I’m always trying to figure out a new use for it, like almost every day I think to myself what else can I cut. It may be a slight obsession, but in all seriousness, there is so much this machine can do! In the short time, I’ve had my Cricut Explore Air, I feel like I’ve doubled my craft production. It has been the key to my crafting projects and honestly has saved me money from things I would have gone to Etsy to purchase. If you are a DIYer or a crafter, get a Cricut and get crafting!

I don’t own a Silhouette and have not tried to use one. I cannot attest to how well they work, but in my small amount of knowledge about them, (more…)
What’s In the Pantry Dinner Idea
White Wine Lemon Chicken with Roasted Potatoes
This week I had one of those nights. A hungry husband and nothing to make for dinner. I made this way to easy chicken and roasted potatoes with what I had on hand and it was a hit! For an easy dinner idea, look no further than a 30 minute (more…)
You Can Disney as an Adult
Disney is not just for the kids. From the amazing restaurants, rides, shows and shopping to eating and drinking around the world, there’s a lot you can do and see as an adult and still enjoy Disney World. Here is a sample itinerary of what to do on a weekend trip to Disney without kids and tips for having the best vacation kid free. At the bottom of this post is a list of activities to do outside the Disney Parks, my current favorite food items, resorts, and restaurants. *This post contains affiliate links, marked with a star. Fast Passes, Tickets, and Tips
Before we go into the itinerary, having fast passes will help you out with wait times A LOT! Reserve fast passes early, so you don’t miss out on your must do rides. If you stay at a Disney resort you can reserve fast passes up to 60 (more…)
Walt Disney World is my favorite vacation spot for a girls weekend trip. I love everything about Disney World, the characters, the songs, the rides, the feeling of being a kid again, not to mention eating and drinking around the world. The customer service is out of this world and the while the prices may be steep, each and every time I enter the gates I know exactly why it’s the happiest place on earth. On this Disney trip, I did run a 5k. Find a review of the race here, how I made my race outfit here and what to do here. This post is dedicated to staying on site at Disney World and where we stayed on our weekend trip, Coronado Springs. (updated 12/2016)

Why Stay to on Property Walt Disney World?
There are many options for where to stay on a Disney vacation. In my opinion, you are crazy not to stay on site. It can be pricier and some people prefer renting a condo. I have stayed offsite and I have stayed in a condo. Both are great, but you do not get the added value of magic bands, extra magic hours, ticket bundles, meal plans, early fast pass picks, free parking and most importantly transportation. (more…)
